Services are this afternoon, I will be reading a poem, things should get back to normal later this week and next. Thank you all for your condolences, prayers, and kind thoughts; they are truly appreciated.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Yes, my time was all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart
My time was now, I had to depart
Forever I will be above
Always watching with endless love
My son, My mom, and all My Dearest
With you I will always be nearest
A light from the family is gone
A place is vacant in the home
Which never can be filled
A voice we loved is stilled
We have to mourn the loss of one
We would’ve loved to keep
But God who surely loved her best
Has finally made her sleep
